Armenian tradition took the floor at a Palladium Saint Louis wedding reception this July. Things got started at cocktail hour where traditional Armenian dishes were passed, such as Dolma, Cheese Boreg, + Lahmajoun, along with Palladium menu hors d’oeuvres. After guests were seated for dinner, the bridal party was introduced + entered the dining room performing Hars ou Pesa, a traditional Armenian dance. The entrance brought every guest to their feet in celebration of the newly wedded bride + groom.
To kick off the celebration at the end of dinner the Detroit based Nigosian Band took over and performed Armenian songs which kept the reception going late into the night. The guests danced for hours on end, even during band breaks when the DJ took over.
Vendors who contributed to this special night include:
Ravetta Photo Booth, St. Louis Transportation, Wedding Wonderland, Carol’s Corner, Complete DJ, McCarty Photography, + Nigosian Band.
Raves from the client…
“Our event was a great success. We had a wedding reception that went off without a hitch. The willingness of your kitchen staff to help serve Armenian Delicacies as appetizers, and as a sweet table was wonderful. You have received a great deal of advertisement in our community for your willingness to allow such an arrangement.
Our event planner, ( Melody Buckner) was an outstanding planner. She was helpful in the initial process of planning, but her work on the day of the reception with executing the plan she helped craft was wonderful She is a great asset to the Palladium.”
