Erica and John were married at the Palladium Saint Louis in St. Louis, Mo. on February 14. The bride looked stunning in an all-lace strapless gown with long wavy hair and a beaded trim veil. She carried a bouquet of roses, peonies, silver brunia balls, hypericum berries, and lamb’s ear. Her closest girlfriends opted for custom chiffon gowns in lavender and gray. The groom and his men donned gray suits with mix-and-match purple patterned neck ties. “I loved being hands on, fully involved in the creation and design of my wedding,” Erica said. “Though I drove myself crazy doing all the small projects, I would do those projects again!” The pair tied the knot in a big modern space with purple uplighting. A reception followed, and the wedding party sat at a head table. Other guests looked to the chalkboard to find their escort cards, where they were then led to round tables with hydrangea and curly willow centerpieces. “We strove to create a wedding which reflected our unique and individual personalities blended together as one,” Erica explained. The room was full of wintry details, including a snowflake light pattern that was projected on the wall. The groom’s little sister played Chinese music during dinner to keep guests entertained. After they ate, the newlyweds cut their three-tier cake adorned with flowers. Erica’s best advice? “Remember that the day is about you and your husband. Make it a reflection of yourself and your personality.” We couldn’t agree more! See the full board here.
