 ST. LOUIS MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE 2010 EXCELLENCE IN NURSING AWARDS April 23, 2010 – ST. LOUIS, MO –

 St. Louis Magazine is pleased to announce the winners of the inaugural Excellence in Nursing awards. At a reception Thursday, April 22, St. Louis Magazine Editor-in-Chief Stephen Schenkenberg and Contributing Editor Christy Marshall presented awards to 67 finalists who placed in the contest.  “The editors here are excited about introducing the Excellence in Nursing Awards to the St. Louis region,” says Editor-in-Chief Stephen Schenkenberg. “We hear from many readers who enjoy our ongoing health coverage, from the annual Best Doctors feature to our wide-ranging Healthy Living series. This new project allows us to expand our focus while shining a light on a critical—though often unheralded—segment of the healthcare workforce.” St. Louis Magazine received 166 nominations for the contest. Those nominations were evaluated by the selection committee and the finalists were chosen. The overall winners in each category are profiled in a 10-page feature in the May issue of St. Louis Magazine, which was unveiled at the awards reception. The issue hits subscribers’ mailboxes April 24 and newsstands April 30. St. Louis Magazine’s inaugural awards reception was held at the Palladium Saint Louis. The event was presented by Budweiser Select, Chamberlain College of Nursing, Scrubs & Beyond, and Select 55.

These clients know how to party!  An Austin Powers themed birthday party provided guests the perfect  opportunity to break out their favorite 60’s costumes.  Complete with Go-Go dancers!

Our very first wedding was an exceptionally beautiful one.  An evening ceremony on January 2, 2010 was adorned with shades of purple and fuschia and lit with hundreds of candles.  An intimate reception of passed hors d’oeuvres and a kir royale cocktail was follow by a three course seated and served dinner.  Guests enjoyed a evening of dancing and cocktailing.

On February 6, 2010, Palladium Saint Louis was transformed into a gamer’s delight with fun casino games, silent auctions and fabulous Palladium Saint Louis cuisine.

What a night!  The 2010 Louie Awards were held Friday, March 5, 2010 at Palladium Saint Louis and guests were wowed by amazing decor, characters and cuisine!  A very special thanks to Exclusive Events, The Aries Company, Contemporary Productions, Signature Studios, Bell of the Ball and everyone else who made this years Louie’s the best they’ve ever been!  A big congrats to all of the winners and we are very excited to have recieved two Louie’s ourselves:
