“There was something so beautiful about the softness of watercolors that juxtaposed with our industrial venue.” We couldn’t have agreed more with this bride, whose special day was featured on The Knot Real Wedding editorial.

Fechte-Anderson Wedding

16. December 2015

What a day as the highly anticipated Fechte-Anderson reception finally arrived! We worked with this wonderful bride & groom for 2 years on their big day and we’re so excited that everything turned out beautifully! The drapery was a custom design done by The Aries Company. The incredible centerpieces were by Butler’s Pantry Design Studio. And we always love working with Absolutely IN! – the planner who helped finalize all the details. Downtown Revitalization Continues With New Venue

Downtown Revitalization Continues With New Venue
September 3, 2015
By Tarina

Butler’s Pantry, St. Louis’ premier catering company, has transformed the machine hall of the former power plant which resides on the old City Hospital campus into an intimate event space – Joule (pronounced Jewel). Built in 1937, the campus had languished in Lafayette Square for over 20 years until Butler’s Pantry renovated the former City Hospital laundry facility into St. Louis’ premier event venue – Palladium Saint Louis. Now, continued restoration of the historic campus is complete and Butler’s Pantry is preparing to open Joule for its first event this September.

Joule is a standalone event venue that adds additional ambiance to Palladium Saint Louis and the former City Hospital campus. Included in the venue’s design is an outdoor plaza, perfect for celebrations, which connects Joule, Butler’s Pantry and Palladium Saint Louis.

“Guests can host a wedding ceremony, rehearsal dinner, networking reception or special event at Joule,” said Richard Nix Jr., President of Butler’s Pantry.

Conveniently located on the same renovated property, Joule is an ideal venue for intimate gatherings while Palladium Saint Louis is well suited for mid-to-large celebrations.

“Now, Butler’s Pantry can accommodate every celebration on the same campus,” continued Nix. “Guests can host their entire event at the new venue or plan for a ceremony at Joule with a reception at Palladium Saint Louis. Additionally, guests can host a cocktail hour at Joule followed by dinner and dancing at Palladium Saint Louis. The possibilities are endless!”

Architectural designer Mark Herman orchestrated the building’s metamorphosis into a modern industrial and hip venue. His interior design team collaborated with Butler’s Pantry to create a sophisticated ambiance with sleek decor. Guests will enjoy any gathering at Joule, with its two-story windows providing an abundance of natural light.

Joule is a spectacular 4,200 square foot space, designed to accommodate up to 300 guests. The venue offers split level seating with ample space for a band and dance floor. Additional parking was added to the property to provide plenty of availability on-site. The complete renovation cost $400,000.

Coffee & Donuts, A Perfect Combo

17. August 2015

This recent wedding at Palladium Saint Louis was full of beautiful AND delectable elements. The gorgeous centerpieces were whimsical & lent a bright pop of color to the room.

The donut station was a definite crowd pleaser… and the first one we’ve seen at Palladium! Dozens & dozens of donuts (14 dozen donuts & 43 dozen donut holes, to be exact) from Donut Delight took the place of a wedding cake and guests could not get enough! The coffee & donut combo were almost as perfect of a match as the couple themselves. Congrats to Jenna & Todd!

Gorgeous succulents adorned the cake & tables at this romantic wedding earlier this year at the Palladium, bringing in a natural element to the event. These desert plants were also used in the boutonnieres and bouquets. A dessert tower featuring a variety of sweets like cannolis, gooey butter & dobash cake brought a whimsical feel to the wedding. Saluting Military Brides and Grooms

28. October 2014

When duty calls, active members of the military don’t always have time to plan the wedding they want, much less the wedding they deserve. Now, with as little as one week’s notice, Palladium Saint Louis will host a ceremony and celebration that features five-star amenities at the special rate of just $1,776.

Palladium Saint Louis is offering exclusive use of their premium event space Tuesday through Thursday, subject to availability, to the men and women who serve our country. Up to 50 guests will enjoy all the essentials: tables and chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, and a five-star service staff. And, a fabulous menu!

Celebrate, dine and drink with house champagne for a toast, a non-alcoholic bar, a display of savory seasonal cheese and vegetables, one of three salad options, and one of three premium pasta entrees, and one of three chicken entrees, seasonal vegetables and rolls. The grand finale is a beautiful tiered cake, baked by Butler’s Pantry, giving the couple their choice from three flavors (chocolate, vanilla and mixed) with white icing.

This introductory package includes the use of Palladium Saint Louis for three hours including a state-of-the-art surround sound system with two microphones, customizable LED lighting indoors and out, Wi-Fi, four projection points and use of the house laptop computer.

“We want to alleviate stress and provide very specially priced, five-star wedding celebrations to our service men and women,” said Richard Nix Jr., President of Butler’s Pantry. “Especially in a short time frame, our men and women deserve a memorable wedding celebration.”

Elegant Lavender Valentine’s Day Wedding

20. October 2014

 Erica + John:

Elegant Lavender Valentine’s Day Wedding

 By: Cindy Lee Photography

Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Photos: Cindy Lee Photography; Venue: Palladium Saint Louis; Planner: Maggie Echwald with the Palladium; Gown: Allure Bridals from The Ultimate Bride; Shoes: Valentino; Groom’s Attire: Jos A. Bank; Flowers: Soulard Florist; Jewelry: David Kodner; DJ: Crucial Entertainment; Cake: Sarah’s Cake Shop; Bridesmaid Dresses: Custom dresses from Little Ruffles Bridal on Etsy; Hair: Rachel Shepard; Makeup: Stephanie Jacobsmeyer

Erica and John were married at the Palladium Saint Louis in St. Louis, Mo. on February 14. The bride looked stunning in an all-lace strapless gown with long wavy hair and a beaded trim veil. She carried a bouquet of roses, peonies, silver brunia balls, hypericum berries, and lamb’s ear. Her closest girlfriends opted for custom chiffon gowns in lavender and gray. The groom and his men donned gray suits with mix-and-match purple patterned neck ties. “I loved being hands on, fully involved in the creation and design of my wedding,” Erica said. “Though I drove myself crazy doing all the small projects, I would do those projects again!” The pair tied the knot in a big modern space with purple uplighting. A reception followed, and the wedding party sat at a head table. Other guests looked to the chalkboard to find their escort cards, where they were then led to round tables with hydrangea and curly willow centerpieces. “We strove to create a wedding which reflected our unique and individual personalities blended together as one,” Erica explained. The room was full of wintry details, including a snowflake light pattern that was projected on the wall. The groom’s little sister played Chinese music during dinner to keep guests entertained. After they ate, the newlyweds cut their three-tier cake adorned with flowers. Erica’s best advice? “Remember that the day is about you and your husband. Make it a reflection of yourself and your personality.” We couldn’t agree more! See the full board here.
