Celebrate, dine and drink with house champagne for a toast, a non-alcoholic bar, a display of savory seasonal cheese and vegetables, one of three salad options, and one of three premium pasta entrees, and one of three chicken entrees, seasonal vegetables and rolls. The grand finale is a beautiful tiered cake, baked by Butler’s Pantry, giving the couple their choice from three flavors (chocolate, vanilla and mixed) with white icing.

October Wedding Raves

Mon, Oct 20, 2014

“In my humble opinion, the service, atmosphere, cuisine & overall experience enjoyed at Palladium Saint is completely unparalleled.

The service…from coordinator to set up crew, door greeter to hors d’oeuvres passers, bartenders to wait staff, Chefs to all culinary assistants…the staff at Palladium Saint Louis are top notch! Jeanne, Melody & Nicole were with me, every step of the way in planning the reception. They each listened to my ideas and were able to expertly make suggestions here and there to ensure my (high) expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Every tiny detailed discussed in a year’s worth of planning was reflected & attended to…beautifully. On the day of, I was confident in being a guest at my own event – how rare! I also knew every single one of my guests were in great hands – all staff are so approachable, charismatic, professional and unbelievably gracious. I was delighted (and not a bit surprised) to get consistent feedback after the fact, how much my family and friends loved getting to know the staff.

The atmosphere…Palladium Saint Louis is such a special venue. It is completely unique in that you can go all out decorating to make the space yours OR you can simply show up and the space still stops people in their tracks. It’s a piece of history…it’s a contemporary marvel. Clean lines and lofty ceilings feel warm & inviting. Uses of metal & concrete are offset by soft LED lighting. This lighting, along with projection capabilities allow you to customize the room easily. There’s a view of downtown, there’s a ton of parking – it really just doesn’t get any better. There was nowhere else I could envision celebrating with my favorite people in the world.

The Cuisine…where do I even begin? These days everyone is a foodie in their own right & unfortunately ‘reception/wedding food’ has gotten a really bad rap. Palladium Saint Louis/Butler’s Pantry is changing people’s minds on this, one guest at a time! This talented culinary team has mastered the art of providing restaurant quality, customized menus, for hundreds. It truly is an amazing feat. I was thrilled to sit down with the Chefs early in planning and discuss some of our favorite meals, favorite flavor profiles. Chefs were then able to create the perfect hors d’oeuvres – fun & a bit whimsical, the perfect seated dinner – 3 elegant courses, the perfect dessert station – who doesn’t love modern twists on classic Hostess confections?? Guests are still talking about ‘that meal’.

The overall experience…if I had the chance to do the Wedding all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Palladium Saint Louis was/is the ONLY option in Wedding Venues that will knock it out of the park and exceed all of your expectations. Palladium Saint Louis ensured my Wedding Day was unforgettable, unbelievable and so completely perfect. I am forever thankful!”

Elegant Lavender Valentine’s Day Wedding

 Erica + John:

Elegant Lavender Valentine’s Day Wedding

 By: Cindy Lee Photography

Posted by Sarah Title. Filed under Real Weddings

Photos: Cindy Lee Photography; Venue: Palladium Saint Louis; Planner: Maggie Echwald with the Palladium; Gown: Allure Bridals from The Ultimate Bride; Shoes: Valentino; Groom’s Attire: Jos A. Bank; Flowers: Soulard Florist; Jewelry: David Kodner; DJ: Crucial Entertainment; Cake: Sarah’s Cake Shop; Bridesmaid Dresses: Custom dresses from Little Ruffles Bridal on Etsy; Hair: Rachel Shepard; Makeup: Stephanie Jacobsmeyer

Erica and John were married at the Palladium Saint Louis in St. Louis, Mo. on February 14. The bride looked stunning in an all-lace strapless gown with long wavy hair and a beaded trim veil. She carried a bouquet of roses, peonies, silver brunia balls, hypericum berries, and lamb’s ear. Her closest girlfriends opted for custom chiffon gowns in lavender and gray. The groom and his men donned gray suits with mix-and-match purple patterned neck ties. “I loved being hands on, fully involved in the creation and design of my wedding,” Erica said. “Though I drove myself crazy doing all the small projects, I would do those projects again!” The pair tied the knot in a big modern space with purple uplighting. A reception followed, and the wedding party sat at a head table. Other guests looked to the chalkboard to find their escort cards, where they were then led to round tables with hydrangea and curly willow centerpieces. “We strove to create a wedding which reflected our unique and individual personalities blended together as one,” Erica explained. The room was full of wintry details, including a snowflake light pattern that was projected on the wall. The groom’s little sister played Chinese music during dinner to keep guests entertained. After they ate, the newlyweds cut their three-tier cake adorned with flowers. Erica’s best advice? “Remember that the day is about you and your husband. Make it a reflection of yourself and your personality.” We couldn’t agree more! See the full board here.

A few weeks ago, Palladium Saint Louis was transformed into the Land of Oz. From the yellow brick ‘road’ surrounded by ‘fields’ of poppies to floating hot air balloons and flying monkeys, upon entry guests were instantly transported Somewhere over the Rainbow.

What an honor it was to host Ronald McDonald House Charities for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres & a candy bar that would make the Lollipop Guild proud.

There may be no place like home, but coming together for a good cause is pretty sweet.

Dance, Dance, Dance!

Tue, Aug 20, 2013

Armenian tradition took the floor at a Palladium Saint Louis wedding reception this July. Things got started at cocktail hour where traditional Armenian dishes were passed, such as Dolma, Cheese Boreg, + Lahmajoun, along with Palladium menu hors d’oeuvres. After guests were seated for dinner, the bridal party was introduced + entered the dining room performing Hars ou Pesa, a traditional Armenian dance. The entrance brought every guest to their feet in celebration of the newly wedded bride + groom.

To kick off the celebration at the end of dinner the Detroit based Nigosian Band took over and performed Armenian songs which kept the reception going late into the night. The guests danced for hours on end, even during band breaks when the DJ took over.

Vendors who contributed to this special night include:

Ravetta Photo Booth, St. Louis Transportation, Wedding Wonderland, Carol’s Corner, Complete DJ, McCarty Photography, + Nigosian Band.

Raves from the client…

“Our event was a great success. We had a wedding reception that went off without a hitch. The willingness of your kitchen staff to help serve Armenian Delicacies as appetizers, and as a sweet table was wonderful. You have received a great deal of advertisement in our community for your willingness to allow such an arrangement.

Our event planner, ( Melody Buckner) was an outstanding planner. She was helpful in the initial process of planning, but her work on the day of the reception with executing the plan she helped craft was wonderful She is a great asset to the Palladium.”

December Raves

Wed, Jan 2, 2013

“Wow, I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful my experience was, working with Maggie and the Palladium. It was pure luck that I was able to reserve this venue, as there was only one date open for the rest of the year. I was living in Chicago and my wedding was in St. Louis, as soon as I became engaged my mom went to work and began to scope out venues, bands, florists etc. I began to look online at several places, and came across the Palladium. I had never heard of it before, but the pictures looked beautiful and just what I had in mind. As soon as I sent an email requesting information and available dates, I was told they were on the phone with my mom and she was  doing the same. We were told September 15th was the only date available for the year, so she went there right away to check out the place. She called me and me raved about how gorgeous the space was, not being able to get to St. Louis, I trusted her taste and told her to go for it. That was the best decision we ever made! The venue itself is absolutely  stunning, Maggie and the rest of the staff were incredible. Words cannot express how wonderful it was working with Maggie, from recommending an incredible wedding planner, to laying out a time line of what needed to get done, and just being in constant correspondence. Her organizational skills and wedding knowledge were out of this world, she put me at complete ease and made the wedding planning so enjoyable and stress free.  She was so accommodating and just an absolute pleasure to work with. The Palladium itself was also just as great as Maggie, I received so many compliments on how beautiful it was and how it’s so different then your typical wedding venue. The food is a whole other story! I have never been to a wedding that I have enjoyed the food, until my own. I couldn’t believe how incredible it was and the service blew me away, I also received many compliments on the
food and service as well. There was not one negative thing I could say about the Palladium or it’s staff, and the pricing is completely reasonable. These
people are top notch and clearly know what they are doing. It was the perfect wedding and I owe that all to Maggie and the Palladium staff! I would recommend this place a thousand times over, these people are the best! Thank you Maggie and the Palladium for an unbelievable evening! If you are looking for an exquisite wedding venue, look no further. Thanks Again!”

“We celebrated our wedding reception at the Palladium on Saturday, November 17, 2012. From the first moment we stepped through the doors of the property to tour the venue, we were mesmerized by the history & architectural design of the Palladium. As an event planner, I am very particular with the actual execution of the event & it is hard to let go of the control! The Palladium not only eased any anxiety I had, but exceeded every expectation! The food was spectacular & our guests literally celebrated all night long! I cannot wait to have the opportunity to return! Maggie is the most professional & kind person I have ever had the pleasure to work with and would recommend the Palladium time & time again for any and all events!”

“Hello Melody!!

I hope all is going well.  I just wanted to write an email to thank you again for all you did at the Palladium and for making all of my dreams come true that night.  Over and Over again we hear from the guests at our wedding how spectatular the Palladium was and how it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to! Haha! I am referring the Palladium left and right to all of the new brides that just got engaged over the holidays.  I have even had people asking me on facebook-that I’m not even friends with- where my pictures were from.  The entire experience was just incredible!! AND THE FOOD!!! =)

I also know you have a vendor list and I wanted to share some of my vendors with you that I have had the MOST wonderful experiences with.  One of them, obviously was Brian from Rebel.  He was amazing.  It was like he went inside of my brain and figured out exactly what I wanted! haha.  He is so talented.  I will keep recommending him!

The other one-was where we had our rehearsal dinner-…- Mangia Italiano, on South Grand-and it was spectactular having it there.  We had our own private room with bar and there was even a big t.v. on the wall that we could put a projector up to and play a slideshow-haha..we love the slideshows.  It was amazing.

My last one would be my d.j.- Rockstar Dj’s are professional and hands down one of the best dj’s i have experienced, even just being a guest at a wedding.

I just wanted to shoot you some recommendations because you had some wonderful suggestions for me. I understand how tough it is to pick vendors for your wedding.  I now know that personal experiences are what matter.

Again, Tim and I want to thank you for all you have done, and I will sing Palladium’s praises- especially yours =), because it was a fantastic reception.  I could not have asked for more.  Thank you Melody!!”

Jessica Evans Layton

“The event was wonderful and everyone had a great time.  The employee reviews were fantastic with absolutely no negative comments.  Melody was a huge help and her suggestions were well presented.  Thank you so much for helping to make this one of our best Christmas parties ever.”

John Henry Foster Co.

“Thanks for following up Maggie. Everything went smoothly, the food was terrific (we received a lot of compliments) and the atmosphere was great.

Thanks for helping us throw a wonderful holiday party. I specifically want to share our gratitude for the tenderloin upgrade. Doug and I heard quite a few folks commenting on how delicious it was.   Take care and have a safe New Year!”
